This bill Establishes a Perinatal Bereavement Care Initiative within the Louisiana Department of Health. This initiative aims to improve access and quality of perinatal bereavement care in Louisiana by providing resources such as bereavement training and perinatal bereavement devices to hospitals. This bill would provide women facing the loss of their child with resources such as cooling cots, allowing grieving families to spend precious time together to grieve their baby and process a life-altering event.
